New Trailer for LEGO DC Comics Animated Justice League vs. Bizarro League

Warner Bros. Home Entertainment has released the trailer for their upcoming follow-up to the TV special “Batman Be-Leaguered” with LEGO DC Comics Super Heroes: Justice League vs. Bizarro League.

Though the film is set to feature the Justice League going up against their Bizarro counterparts, it will also feature major big bad Darkseid in his LEGO debut.

The CW Renews ‘The Flash’ After just 2 Episodes

The CW Renews ‘The Flash’ After just 2 Episodes! The Flash airs in the UK on Sky 1 at 8pm on Tuesday (October 28th) so we thought we would share some of the buzz surrounding the new TV Series.

Based on the comic book character of the same name, The Flash tells the story of Barry Allen – a man struck by lightning and who wakes up from a coma to discover his body transformed and that he is the ‘fastest man alive’.

Grant Gustin dons the famous red outfit, reprising his role as Barry Allen having unveiled the character on the hugely popular ‘Arrow’ – another comic to TV show success story based on the DC character Green Arrow.

The Flash

Keen Flash fans will find that some of these names ring a bell from the DC Comics world, although Arrow hasn’t stuck rigidly to the canon, so it was always likely that The Flash wouldn’t either. Whether you know the names or not, each story thread fairly thrums with possibilities, keeping the pilot zipping along nicely.

Only the utter blindness of Iris to Barry’s love and her predictable fall into the arms of Thawne are a bit tired. But this is the usual superhero formula – to have the girl of his dreams hanging around but initially unattainable – but it can get boring and if you’re going to update things, isn’t this the sort of thing that could easily go?

Josh Wilding, a Cardiff-based writer for film website HeyYouGuys.com and ComicBookMovie.com, adds that there is a huge appetite for comics-turned-TV-series and The Flash is doing particularly well.

“It’s still early days, but The Flash has been incredible so far. It’s extremely faithful to the source material and the special effects are up there with a lot of big budget blockbusters.”

Super hero fans are in for another televisual treat later this month when the UK premiere of another DC legend hits the small screen.

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 2014 Posters Revealed

The latest reboot Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles debuted its first trailer a few weeks ago, now – we get a look at the three fingered, one weapon teaser posters!

TMNT Donatello (Purple) TMNT Leonardo (Blue) TMNT Michelangelo (Orange) TMNT Raphael (Red)

If Transformers wasn’t enough, Michael Bay is bringing another childhood classic back in the big screen for some full-on action.

The 1987 TMNT cartoon which spanned 10 years is one of the most successful cartoons of all time. It was originally created to promote an action figure line from playmates toys and promote it the show definitely did and then some. This cartoon series was in a word, magical. To any kid that grew up in the late 80s and early 90s this show was probably a must watch every Saturday morning!

It wasn’t just fans that grumbled over the facial features of Leo, Donny, Mikey and Raph. Comic creator Peter Laird helped give them their iconic looks isn’t too sure about the “human-like” mouths and noses that they’ll be sporting in the upcoming Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles movie.

Peter Laird recently gave an interview to Comic Book Movie about the Michael Bay-produced reboot, where he was critical in a relatively gentle way..

“…the changes to the basic design of the Turtles seemed to me to fall into the “fixing what is not broken” category. It’s altogether possible that, in the context of this new movie, these designs will work well and not seem so odd, but I still point to what Jim Henson’s “Creature Shop” team did with their rendering of the Turtles in rubber and paint as the best translation (in live action, anyway) of the Turtles as Kevin Eastman and I created them.”

Well, all that’s neatly side-stepped by these new teaser posters, which focus instead on the weapons gripped by each turtle.

The 2014 TMNT movie stars and Megan Fox, Alan Ritchson, William Fichtner, Whoopi Goldberg and Johnny Knoxville hits cinemas in August.

80s Throw Back Time: Remember THAT theme tune… “TURTLE POWER” !!

Veronica Mars THE MOVIE Trailer (Kristen Bell)

Its been 10 years since Veronica Mars the series hit our TV screens, and now, yep there’s a movie. Kristen Bell signed up along with Jason Dohring & Percy Daggs and now you finally get to check out the full length trailer, which sees the titular heroine dropping her potential law career to return home and solve another post-Nancy Drew mystery. It doesn’t seem to have really expanded much on the source material–plot, craft, or scope-wise–but it does, undoubtedly, look like a Veronica Mars movie. What do you think?

If you don’t remember what the series looked like, check out the season 1 trailer from 2004…

Find of the Day: Love Actually 2 Trailer

It’s likely we won’t ever see a sequel to Love Actually , the seasonal movie with so many stars and so many heart breaks…

You’ve already watched it once or five times on TV this month and wondered what would happen to the characters.

Perhaps it look something like this? (Warning: mild swears).

Thanks you, Official Comedy.
